Become a sponsor of Lucerne Festival. There are many ways to anchor your cultural commitment in the public eye and benefit from exclusive services.

The Credit Suisse Foundation promotes highly talented young musicians with two awards granted annually on an alternating basis – the “Credit Suisse Young Artist Award” and the “Prix Credit Suisse Jeunes Solistes”. In addition to the prize money, the winners are given the opportunity to perform in concert with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra during the Summer Festival or in the Debut series.

Classical music, very casual: the host-led concerts of the 40min series not only start earlier than usual, they are shorter – and there is no admission fee. The musicians introduce themselves and their selection of works or they present unconventional programs. In this way, Zurich Insurance would like to make classical music accessible to a broader audience.

The Corona pandemic has hit the cultural sector hard. For this reason, and with the backing from our main sponsors, we initiated the #SolidarityForMusic digital campaign in summer 2020 to raise awareness and help freelance musicians in Switzerland. Together we were able to raise over CHF 275,000 for musicians in need.

Every two years since 2003, Roche has awarded commissions to outstanding contemporary composers, and since 2013, alternately to two young composers each. The new scores created within the framework of the Roche Commissions and the Roche Young Commissions are given their premieres at the Summer Festival by the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra.

For the launch of an exclusive watch, our partner Carl F. Bucherer came up with a special idea: in cooperation with Lucerne Festival, a new orchestral piece was to be created as a musical counterpoint to the new timepiece.
