UBS supports highly talented young musicians through two annually alternating prizes: the “UBS Young Artist Award” and the “Prix UBS Jeunes Solistes”.
The internationally acclaimed “UBS Young Artist Award” supports outstanding soloists who have the potential that promises a major international career. Along with a cash award of 75,000 CHF, the winners are given the opportunity to perform in concert with the Vienna Philharmonic during the Summer Festival in Lucerne. The award is conferred jointly by Lucerne Festival, the Vienna Philharmonic, the Society of Friends of Music Vienna, and UBS.

The “Prix UBS Jeunes Solistes” honors emerging musical talents from Switzerland and comes with a cash award of 25,000 CHF. This award is conferred jointly by Lucerne Festival, KMHS (Conference of Music Academies in Switzerland), and UBS.
