The actor Fyodor Olev was born in Moscow in 1984. His family emigrated to Germany in1989; his father Pyotr Olev founded the Theater Academy in Hamburg at the local Academy of Music and Theater. Even as a child, Olev regularly appeared in front of the camera and took part in a number of television series. He began his training as an actor at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in 2003; after receiving his intermediate diploma, he transferred to the University of the Arts in Berlin in 2005, completing his studies there in 2007. Olev has appeared in numerous episodes of the crime series Tatort and in such series as Wilsberg, Letzte Spur Berlin, Danni Lowinski, and Morden im Norden. His theatrical engagements include appearances at the Akademietheater, the Metropoltheater, and the Residenztheater in Munich, as well as at the Ruberoid Festival in Berlin. A sought-after voice actor, he also devotes himself to the genre of radio drama.
