It's concert day at last! Tonight (3 February 2023) at 20.00, the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra (LFCO) will perform works by Dieter Ammann and Rebecca Saunders as part of the festival "Elbphilharmonie Visions" in the Elbphilharmonie's Grosser Saal.

The afternoon of the concert, a dress rehearsal took place at Elbphilharmonie.

At the dress rehearsal, the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra rehearses the works that will performed later this evening with conductor Sylvain Cambreling and soloist Nicolas Hodges: "to an utterance" by Rebecca Saunders and "Core" – "Turn" – "Boost" by Dieter Ammann.

With seemingly endless energy, the LFCO works on every last detail to guarantee a great concert experience for their Hamburg audience.

But of course, the musicians also take the time to take in the surroundings at the marvellous Elbphilharmonie – there is so much to see and to discover here.

The rehearsal is over, the Elphie Selphies are taken – the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra (LFCO) is ready for the concert!

After the performance, "Elbphilharmonie Visions" hosts a live talk with composer Rebecca Saunders and YouTuber Nahre Sol, which can be streamed live here (starting at 21.45)
