Our dramaturge Mark Sattler will welcome you and lead a conversation with the two composers of the sound project «Outside Inside», Daniel Ott and Enrico Stolzenburg. Afterwards, we warmly invite you to join us for an apéro. Please register by 9 November. The number of places is limited.

«Outside Inside» by Daniel Ott and Enrico Stolzenburg is a unique sound event created especially for the KKL Lucerne. What makes it truly exceptional is the sheer diversity of the participants: around 300 performers will take part. Our Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra (LFCO) will perform together with music students and amateurs, carnival bands (Fasnachtsguggen), whip crackers (Geisslechlöpfer), and tap dancers from across the region.
In the first part, the audience will walk in guided small groups through the KKL – including areas that are normally closed to the public, such as rehearsal rooms, basements, and echo chambers – and will encounter a rich variety of sounds. Live music performed inside and outside the KKL blends with environmental sounds and pre-recorded sounds from the city. In the second part, everyone comes together for the grand finale in the concert hall.
