The Swiss Museum of Transport exhibits all forms of transport including trains, automobiles, ships and aircraft as well as communication technology. It is Switzerland's most popular museum.

The Museum of Transport is home to numerous locations for various events.

Arrival | Parking Facilities

The Museum of Transport can be reached by public transport in 8-10 minutes. Along the lake promenade you can reach the Museum of Transport on foot in 30 minutes.

Arriving by train & bus
From Lucerne train station 8 minutes by train (S3 or Voralpenexpress) to stop “Luzern Verkehrshaus”. 10 minutes by bus no. 6, 8 or 24 to bus stop “Verkehrshaus”.

Wheelchair Seating

All museum and movie theater areas are wheelchair accessible. There are two barrier-free toilets in The Swiss Museum of Transport.

Access to venues | Late admission

The concert box office opens one hour before the start of the event.
