Born in Togo, Anani Dodji Sanouvi currently resides in Amsterdam, where he directs his own dance ensemble, Maahoum. He collaborates with Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, and his productions have been performed throughout Europe, the United States, and Abu Dhabi and in Mali and Senegal.
