Urs Rohner

Urs Rohner, who was born in 1962, studied law at the University of Zurich and began his career working for law firms in Zurich and New York. From 2000 to 2004 he was Chairman of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG; he subsequently transferred to Credit Suisse Group. From 2004 to 2009, he was a member of the Executive Board of Credit Suisse Group and Credit Suisse; starting in 2009 he became Vice Chairman and, from 2011 to 2021, was Chairman of the Board of Directors. Since then he has been active as a businessman. Urs Rohner is a member of the Board of the British pharmaceutical company GSK plc, of the Advisory Board of Investcorp, and of the Advisory Board of the Department of Economics at the University of Zurich.
