Dr. Patrick Frost

Patrick Frost joined the Group Executive Board of Swiss Life in 2006, first serving as Group CIO and then as Group CEO from 2014 to 2024. He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors at Roche since 2020. His previous board and advisory roles have included positions with PostFinance, economiesuisse, the Zurich Chamber of Commerce, the Zurich Economic Society, Avenir Suisse, and the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce. Born in 1968, Frost grew up mainly in Basel, where he completed his secondary education, and he holds degrees in Natural Sciences (ETH Zurich), Economics (Ph.D. and M.A., University of Basel), and Law (University of Zurich). He began his professional career in 1996 in the asset management division at the former Winterthur Group. He lives in Zug with his family.
