From 22 to 24 March 2024, under the direction of Riccardo Chailly and Pablo Heras-Casado, the Lucerne Festival Orchestra performed music by Beethoven, including three of his symphonies and the Violin Concerto (featuring the rising star violinist Daniel Lozakovich). Let's have a look back at our Spring Festival and explore why musicians enjoy performing Beethoven's music so much.
