Just 21 years old, he’s already been invited twice to the West Coast Ragtime Festival in Sacramento. Maurice Imhof, winner of the Swiss Youth Ragtime Piano Competition in 2011 and currently a student at the Zurich University of the Arts, is someone worth paying attention to. He performs regularly with David Ruosch and Buddha Scheidegger. And he loves to present classical music in jazz arrangements – as on his debut CD, Classic Meets Jazz.
