Jerry Lee Lewis, Roosevelt Sykes, and Alan Price: they all inspired Lluís Coloma, who was born in 1973 in Barcelona, to develop a style all his own. As one of Europe’s most sought-afer blues- and boogie-woogie pianists, he has made music with Barrelhouse Chuck and Axel Zwingenberger, as well as with Sax Gordon, Manu Dibango, and Sharon Jones and has guested at all of the leading festivals. From 2003 to 2011 he led the Barcelona Blues Festival.
