Rolf Dörig (1957) studied law at the University of Zurich (Dr. iur.) and was subsequently called to the bar in Zurich. He additionally completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School in Boston. He began his professional career in 1986 at Credit Suisse, where from 2000 onwards he has held responsibility as a Member of the Executive Board for Corporate and Retail Banking in Switzerland. In 2002 he started his tenure as Chairman Switzerland. In November 2002 Rolf Dörig became Chief Executive Officer of Swiss Life and from 2008 to 2009 he served as Delegate of the Board of Directors. Since 2009 he has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Swiss Life Holding. In addition, Rolf Dörig is Member of the Board of Directors of Walter Frey Holding AG, and Member of the Supervisory Board of Danzer Holding AG.
