Mendelssohn Festival 2022 – a look back
Highlights film: That was the first edition of our new spring festival!
From 8 to 10 April 2022, the Lucerne Festival Orchestra and Riccardo Chailly devoted thei new Spring Festival to composer Felix Mendelssohn and his contemporaries.
4000 visitors (total occupany of almost 80%) attended the three concerts in the KKL Luzern, in which Mendelssohn's music was performed in dialogue with works by contemporaries, role models and successors. At the Mendelssohn Festival 2022, these were Richard Wagner, Robert Schumann and Hector Berlioz.
