With some musicians, you have the impression that they could replicate themselves. For instance, Robert Levin. The American is not only a gifted pianist on modern and period instruments alike. He is also a music researcher, and as such has particularly been involved in investigating the performance practice of the Classical era and in preparing complete versions of Mozart’s Requiem and C minor Mass. And he is a passionate teacher, as he proved two years ago with his master class in Lucerne. Now he returns to share his wisdom and experience once again with selected young pianists and to guide them in the study of a repertoire ranging from the Baroque to classical Modernism. The results will be insightful for any interested auditors, not just those who play the piano! Admission is of course free for students of the Hochschule Luzern – Musik.

In collaboration with the Hochschule Luzern – Musik
