Church of St. Luke
A Calvinist church built in 1935. The architects Alfred Möri and Karl-Friedrich Krebs created a clear and rigorously articulated group of buildings typical of the then prevailing functional style in church architecture. An impressive freestanding staircase leads to the main entrance surmounted by a mighty tower. The only decoration in the interior is provided by the pulpit with its three carved bas-reliefs, the communion table by the sculptor Emil Wiederkehr, and the large stained-glass window in the choir, designed by the artist Louis Moillet and executed by the glass painter Eduard Renggli. The new 42-stop organ by Goll & Co. was inaugurated in December 2001.
