LUCERNE FESTIVAL ORCHESTRA presents at its first stands soloists such as Kolja Blacher, Wolfram Christ, Diemut Poppen, Natalia Gutman, Jens-Peter Maintz, Clemens Hagen, Alois Posch, Jacques Zoon, Reinhold Friedrich, Bruno Schneider, members of the Sabine Meyer Wind Ensemble, the Alban Berg Quartet and of the Hagen Quartet. The orchestra is based on the young and highly talented musicians of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra.
