Paths to Music by Daniel Barenboim. A film by Paul Smaczny (in German)

In the first of their two Lucerne concerts, Daniel Barenboim and the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra juxtapose two new works by Jordanian composer Saed Haddad and  Israel Chaya Czernowin, our composer-in-residence, with music by the two big birthday boys of 2013: Giuseppe Verdi and Richard Wagner, whose followers once feuded in way that is not unlike mutually hostile religions and nations.
