Every year, the LUCERNE FESTIVAL ACADEMY includes a Master Class in Conducting in which Pierre Boulez initiates highly gifted young conductors into the mysteries of the métier. This summer, they investigate three works from the Academy’s 2010 repertoire: Variations for orchestra, Op. 30 by Anton Webern, "Le Chant du Rossignol"by Igor Stravinsky and excerpts from "Dérive 2"by Pierre Boulez.

Tickets can only be purchased over the phone (+41 (41) 226 44 80) or at the box office. The box office opens one hour before the concert begins, except in the case of concerts with introductory talks, when it opens half an hour before the talk.
