The Academy Forum series will provide an opportunity to glimpse behind the scenes and watch students working with their teachers. Through public rehearsals, conversations with artists, and master classes, you’ll have a chance this year to observe how Pierre Boulez and the LUCERNE FESTIVAL ACADEMY prepare performances. These programs will also enable you to know more about the Swiss composer Dieter Ammann, our “composer-in-residence” for 2010. The Master Class in Conducting allows you to follow how a musical interpretation is shaped. Moreover, all Academy Forum events are free of charge.
