Next year, Bernard Haitink begins offering his Master Class in Conducting for the first time. The course will be spread over three years, taking place during each Easter Festival. From April 14 to 17, 2011, under Haitink’s guidance, the young, highly talented participants will partner with the Festival Strings Lucerne to prepare works by Brahms, Bruckner, and Bartók. The deadline for registration is December 10, 2010. The Master Class in Conducting is also open to anyone interested in auditing the course.
