A critics’ poll of the British magazine “Gramophone” singled out the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra as the “best orchestra in the world.” Since as a rule only world-class orchestras perform at LUCERNE FESTIVAL, it’s no surprise that for decades these elite musicians from Amsterdam have been regular summer guests here. You can win three pairs of free tickets to the Dutch orchestra’s first concert, which takes place on 2 September under the baton of their chief conductor Mariss Jansons.

The lucky winners will be able attend the first of the Concertgebouw Orchestra’s guest concerts, featuring works by Béla Bartók, Rodion Shchedrin, and Igor Stravinsky.
