The American Friends of LUCERNE FESTIVAL was established in March 2002. Its mission is to support the performances of American orchestras, artists and composers at the prestigious and historic LUCERNE FESTIVAL and also to assist in sponsoring performances of the LUCERNE FESTIVAL ORCHESTRA in the United States. In addition, through tours to LUCERNE FESTIVAL and with special events open to members in the United States, the organization seeks to promote the Festival on both continents.
